Overview
The wrong concrete repair is worse than no repair — it traps moisture, hides progressing damage, and fails within a year. We start by diagnosing why your concrete failed, then choose the repair method that addresses the cause, not just the symptom.
  • Crack repair — surface seal, injection, or full slab replacement
  • Slab leveling — polyurethane foam injection or mudjacking
  • Surface resurfacing — overlay, skim coat, microtop
  • Spall and pop-out repair with patching mortar matched to existing
  • Pool deck resurfacing with anti-slip texture
  • Driveway repair, sidewalk repair, garage floor repair

What You Should Know Before You Pour

Settling, Cracking, Spalling, Scaling

Settling means the base failed and the slab dropped. Cracking is movement past the slab's tensile strength. Spalling is surface chunks popping off (bad finish or freeze-spall). Scaling is the top layer flaking (poor cure). Each has a different fix.

Mudjacking vs. Foam Lifting vs. Replacement

Mudjacking pumps cement slurry under the slab — cheap, but adds weight and can fail again. Polyurethane foam is lighter, lasts longer, and won't wash out. For deeply damaged slabs, full replacement is honestly the right answer.

Resurfacing Options

Polymer-modified overlay (1/4" thick, durable, can be stamped). Skim coat (1/16" thick, cosmetic only). Microtop (decorative, color-rich, perfect for patios). We pick based on slab condition and your goal.

Decision Guide

Cracks under 1/8" with no displacement: surface seal. Cracks with vertical displacement: investigate base. Multiple parallel cracks or alligator cracking: usually full replacement. We'll show you why we're recommending what we recommend.

Pool Deck Resurfacing

Pool decks suffer from sun bleaching, surface scaling, and chemical etching. We grind, repair, and resurface with a textured polymer overlay — slip-resistant, color-rich, and far cheaper than full replacement.

Repair Timeline

Most repair projects are 1–3 days on site, depending on scope. Foam injection slab leveling can be done in a single day with use restored within hours. Resurfacing needs 24–72 hours of cure before traffic.
FAQ

Common Questions

Depends on the cracks. Hairline surface cracks: cosmetic seal. Cracks with displacement (one side higher than the other): the base failed and the slab needs replacement or lifting. We diagnose for free.
